FB Rice promotes two Associates and two Paralegals
FB Rice is delighted to promote two new associates across our engineering, and computing and electronics teams. Additionally, we have appointed two new Paralegals. This well-deserved recognition is effective 1 July 2022.

Meet our newly promoted Associates
Chor Lai | Associate
Chor Lai is a new associate in our Melbourne engineering team, working with clients in a diverse range of sectors such as mining, construction, and medical technology. With several years industry experience as a mechanical and structural engineer, Chor understands the importance of innovation to clients in achieving their technical, strategic, and commercial objectives. Having lived in South-East Asia and being fluent in both Bahasa and English, Chor is well-placed to advise clients on the nuances of operating in the South-East Asian market.

Daniel Pullella | Associate
As a member of our computing and electronics team, Daniel enjoys working with clients to learn about their inventions and to identify and protect commercially valuable IP. Having joined the firm in 2021, Daniel works with clients in a diverse set of fields including audio and image processing, electronics, mining technologies, mobile devices, and quantum computing. Daniel has a background in electrical engineering and computer science, with a focus on biometric signal processing and machine learning. Daniel has worked in both research and industry roles to develop and support new technologies, and leverages this experience to engage with clients and achieve outcomes that enhance the value of their businesses.

Newly promoted Paralegals
Reflecting the inclusive, responsive, and client-focused environment cultivated at FB Rice, we have appointed two Paralegals. Congratulations to Manuel Kautt and Pia Mucilli who will take on this newly created role, effective 1 July 2022.
