He specialises in drafting patent specifications for a diverse range of technologies in the areas of computing, engineering, and communications technologies. Particular examples include electronic payment systems, blockchain technologies, mobile device applications, and medical imaging systems.
Daniel has qualifications in electrical engineering and computer science, including a PhD in signal processing. As part of his research, Daniel worked on developing automatic biometric authentication systems, including speech recognition and speaker identification systems, based on machine learning and pattern classification technologies.
Daniel has a passion for understanding the details of complex inventions, and for working with clients to develop IP strategies that provide strong commercial benefits.
